Saghar Manzoor plays cricket for the Croatian national team, something he never imagined during his journey across borders on foot. Originally from Pakistan, Saghar walked nearly 7,000 kilometres to reach Croatia.
Along the way, he slept outside, survived difficult conditions, and was deported back to Bosnia several times before finally receiving asylum status. The journey strengthened his Christian faith, which became a source of hope during the hardest moments. Now living in Croatia, Saghar is slowly building a new life and looking toward the future with gratitude.
